Watt’s Up, Doc? | www.NinaSinganon.com

I was organizing and cleaning my make up the other day in preparation for a work/pleasure trip next week and found my Benefit Watt’s Up sample that came with the “Cheeky Sweet Spot” holiday blush kit. When I first got the kit, I wasn’t really all that excited to get the Watt’s Up sample. I hoped that it contained one more cheek color instead of the highlighter, because I wasn’t a big fan of cream highlighters. This little thing remained untouched in my kit until I did my “Spring Cleaning” earlier in the week.

Let me tell you, I had an “oh gosh why did I wait so long to swatch this” moment when I first swatched this. It is a beautiful golden champagne highlighter that is subtle but packs a punch. Very pigmented, smooth (no glitter/shimmer particles) and easy to apply – all in all a really good product! This would work well for a lot of skin tones, but would look especially beautiful on tanned skin.

The product itself feels like a cream initially, but transforms into a powder. I tried this on bare skin and it looks really nice. I also tried putting this on top of powdered skin and I am happy to report that I didn’t notice any caking or flaking.

I am a little annoyed at myself for waiting this long before trying it, because it is a really beautiful product! If you are looking for an easy-to-use and pretty highlighter, this is definitely worth a look. If all cream highlighter looks and works like this, then I may just have to try more!!! *wink wink*
