I have a confession. I mean, it’s not that big of a problem really, except for maybe my mom who hates clutter, my wallet and the trees that are sacrificed in the process but… I am a craft and planner items hoarder. New notebooks, new pencils/pens make me excited to plan, write and doodle! I also like collecting stamps, stickers, planners and other crafty things that drive my sister nuts because I have a number of notebooks, notepads, stickers, stamps and pens that are, as of this writing, still unused but I refuse to get rid of. I have been trying very hard not to buy any new crafty/planner things (promise), but last weekend my sister, my nephew and I went to Makati to watch a movie (Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them was awesome, by the way. Niffler is adorable!) and we managed to find ourselves at The Landmark.
If you’ve ever been to The Landmark in Makati, you’d know that it is a veritable treasure trove for anything and everything – from homeware to hair stuff and beauty things to cute gift items and craft supplies. I ended up staying far too long than was necessary at the crafts/planner supplies section – as is always the case whenever I decide to drop by there – and this time around, I picked up 5 large notebooks, a small notebook and 3 extra small notebooks. Now I know it may seem excessive, but I really liked the designs on the cover and the paper is really nice – smooth, easy to write on and most of all, it had cream-colored paper. That’s what really sold me, because I prefer cream-colored paper over white and most of the time, notebooks with cream sheets tend to be pricier than notebooks with white sheets. The lined notebooks are great for notes, to-dos, journals and the notepads are great for on-the-go. They also have notebooks with unlined pages, which is perfect for Bullet Journal enthusiasts, doodlers and artists who prefer blank pages.
My purchases amounted to Php397.75 for all 9 items, which is amazing, but I also got an additional 10% off because there was a sale at the time. YASS! These kinds of notebooks would be twice the price (perhaps even more) if I purchase them elsewhere, so I am happy I found them in The Landmark. At around Php50 to Php60 each for the big notebooks and Php25 to Php30 each for the small notebooks, these are a STEAL!
If you have a “plannerista” or a “crafterista” in your life that you need to give gifts for this Christmas, try dropping by The Landmark (the stationary/craft items/planner accessories section is near the entrance coming in from Greenbelt). I am sure you’d find a lot of things there. Other than notebooks, I also saw some cute pens, sticky notes, stickers, paper clips and craft picture frames that were less than Php100 pesos! Just be careful not to get sucked in by all the other things around you LOL because there are SO MANY interesting/“I-dont-need-it-but-want-it” things there. 😛
