I am always on the lookout for new and interesting things whenever I pop in to the beauty section of the department store. There’s always something new, something cute, something “I just have to have”. If you aren’t careful, you’ll walk away with a basket full of goodies that you had no intention of buying, and a bill around the thousands. LOL.
On one of my “let’s see if there’s anything new” trips to Watson’s, I saw a purple spikey teardrop-shaped thing that looked very interesting. It’s a silicone facial cleansing pad and because I am always up for trying new beauty toys, I had to get it.
The surface of this is very similar to the surface of the Foreo Luna and the vibrating facial cleansing tool from Pond’s. It’s not a brush – but it has tiny bristles that help exfoliate and remove dirt from your face. I absolutely love this. I use it everyday to clean my face along with my cleansing facial wash. I move in circular motions, so in a way, I am giving myself a face massage too!
The true test for me was when I wore a full face of make up for an event. I wanted to see how well this tiny tool worked, so I took my regular facial wash, spread it all over my face, took this thing and massaged away. My face felt very clean, but not dry. I wanted to see if it was able to get all my make up off, so I used a make up remover wipe to see if there were any make up left. I was very surprised and impressed that the wipe stayed clean and white – no make up residue whatsoever.
It’s small so it is great for travel, and it’s made from silicone and hand powered (ha ha) so you don’t have to worry about running out of batteries, or dropping it on the floor and breaking it. I have been using this for months now, and for something so inexpensive, it works REALLY well. I got mine for Php62.50 at Watson’s and let me tell you, I already have back ups of my back up. That’s how much I like it!
