I’ve come to the realization that I should use my eyeshadows more and one of the products that I have been loving lately is the Etude House Bling Bling Eyestick in the shade West Sky Sunset. It’s a beautiful copper cream eyeshadow with a little bit of shimmer particles. I got it from Althea Korea during their Birthday Sale, and to be honest, I didn’t think I’d like it as much as I do. At Php190.00, it’s definitely a steal!
I really like the packaging of this – not so much because it’s unique or anything like that, it actually is very plasticky – but because it’s very easy to use and it’s highly functional. You can use this on the go – just remove the lid, twist the pen and apply directly on to your lids. Easy peasy!
The shade West Sky Sunset is great for many skin tones whether you are fair skinned or have a darker morena complexion. You can use it on it’s own, or as a “primer” for a powder eyeshadow. The formula is very smooth and easy to blend. It doesn’t set though, so there is a high likelihood that it will crease if you don’t blend it out or set it properly. What I like to do is take this product, apply directly on the lid, blend it carefully and then apply a powder eyeshadow on top of it. Not only does it make the color pop more, it also makes it last longer.
I liked the West Sky Sunset Etude House Bling Bling Eye Stick so much that I got two more shades – a slightly more red-orange color and a nice gold shade.I can’t wait to get my hands on them – I hope the package from Althea Korea arrives soon! *fingers crossed*
