I received my Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette from Sephora Philippines the other day and I had to put the package away because I knew that if I opened it, I wouldn’t be able to finish any work because I’d want to play with it immediately haha. Sorry, I have low EQ!!!
So after a couple of very busy days, I finally had the chance to open it today and the packaging is absolutely beautiful – the white, gold with a hint of silver is really nice and the palette looks very luxurious. It’s hefty, feels very solid and I like that they opted a click-close mechanism as opposed to a magnetic one. Makes me feel that the packaging is very secure.
As for the product itself, I can’t share yet as I only opened this today but if the reviews online are to be trusted, then this is a really good investment. To be honest, the first time I saw this, I thought I’d skip it because hey, it’s pricey and I didn’t think I’d need even more highlighters (LOL), but when I saw the price of the Champagne Splits (Php2,273 on Sephora Philippines) and the price of Champagne Pop (Php2,235 on Sephora Philippines), the Champagne Collection Face Palette definitely offered the best value for money. Priced at Php3,082, you get 2 highlighters (1 limited edition) and 3 other cheek products for about 800pesos more than the Pop and the Splits.
I purchased mine from Sephora.ph – I did see a couple of independent online sellers selling this at around Php2,500 to Php2,800, but I opted to get mine from Sephora even though it’s more expensive because I wanted to be sure it’s authentic (so many fakes in the market now, it’s scary) and I can rest easy knowing the palette will be properly packaged and handled and will arrive in perfect condition. I was very pleasantly surprised by how quick the delivery was considering that the package came from Singapore – it took 5 days (weekend days included in the count), but it would have arrived earlier had there not been some confusion about my shipping address.
Now if you are thinking about getting this palette, or if you were as gutted as I was when this sold out the first time it was released, well I have good news. Sephora PH restocked this palette recently and as of 6PM on the 19th of October, it is still available. Go get it while you still have the chance as I am sure it will sell out soon!
